The SAAB 9-5 Ecopower models have been affected by premature Turbocharger failures, normally occuring between 70-100k miles. This has been thought to have been caused by a number of issues including insufficient cooling of the turbocharger bearing core, missing oil changes and overspeed of the turbocharger centre shaft.
This is a brand new genuine Saab Turbocharger.
