For ultimate sports applications, SAAB’s standard air-box setup is not ideal, the long intake trumpet to the air-box helps develop torque, but does not pass enough air to allow the engine to breath fully at high revs.
Our performance induction system features a high-flow air-filter, capable of flowing 10-15% more air than the standard air-box assembly. Air from the filter is passed through a 3 inch flowed bend before being drawn into the Turbo for compression. The net result is a noticeable increase in top end power, and reduced turbo spool-up times.
The supplied filter can also be cleaned and reused in the same manner as our sports filter elements, the kit includes one can of ITG retention spray.
ITG Dust Retention Spray/Cleaner restores dirty ITG foam filters to perfect filtration condition. This spray is only for use with ITG foam filters and must not be used on cotton or gauze material based filters such as K&N.
