Jaguar Consultancy
We have now expanded our services to cater for classic Jaguar cars. Ed Abbott was a Senior development test engineer at Jaguar Cars Ltd for 12 years, and was directly involved in developing the XJS, Series 2 and 3 XJ6/ 12, AJ6 Engine, and the XJ40 at Jaguar Engineering with Norman Dewis.
Over the last 2 years, we have seen all the classic Jaguar’s through our workshop; XK 120, XK140, XK 150, as well as Mk 2’s, Mk 5’s and all of the E-type range.
Ed now runs a couple of classic Jaguars and has competed in several Jaguar events since mid-2009 including getting 117MPH out of his Standard 3.4 Mk2 at the 2010 Woodbridge Speed Trial! During this period he has been approached to help several owners having problems with their cars. As a result of this interest, we now offer a consultancy to help source cars for prospective owners, and offer bespoke chassis and engine tuning to get the best out of any Jaguar that perhaps has not been fully sorted for some time, or typically following a major restoration program.
Our Workshops can carry out all major repairs and servicing, supply specialist Jaguar parts and tuning options, and provide exceptional body repairs and paintwork facilities.
We can overhaul and tune all Jaguar engines from SS Jaguar 3.5 Litre Pushrod, the 6 Cylinder XK Series engines through to the V12 Carb and Injection variants.
