Abbott Racing Motorsport are the leaders in Trionic Upgrade development. Our upgrades are performed using software developed by us, specifically for use with the Trionic management system, exhaustive testing leads us to optimum settings for power, reliability and economy.
The operation of the upgrade is quite simple in concept, but can only be installed by a precise voltage controlled process. By modifying information contained within the engine management module, the engine can deliver more power. This is specifically achieved by enhancing the ignition, fuel and boost matrices.
To enable us to upgrade your car, we need your control module, or car at our workshops. The Trionic Upgrade is the most cost-effective way to improve power whilst maintaining total reliability.
Note: When ordering a power upgrade or sending us a unit to be upgraded, please supply your SAAB VIN number.
For customer convenience & ease of installation, all upgraded ECU’s are pre-programmed with the VSS / Immobiliser code for the vehicle.
This feature allows a ‘plug and go’ upgrade, without the need to contact a SAAB dealer with the TECH 2 diagnostic tool to reset the immobiliser.
